Hannah BaradonPresident
Hannah Baradon is a 4th-year Mechanical Engineering and Economics double major from Pensacola, Florida. During her time at UF, she has been a part of multiple Engineering organizations, including Engineers Without Borders (Nepal Team), the Freshman Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG), and the MANATEE Research Lab. At FLEG, she served as the Professional Affairs Co-Director and President where she focused not only on growing her leadership skills but finding new and innovative ways to improve the organization for the freshmen. For her work in this position, she was offered a chance to go to the Naval Academy Leadership Conference through the Engineering Leadership Institute to further enhance her leadership skills. This past summer, she interned with Procter and Gamble in their Supply Chain Innovation group, honing her 3D modeling skills and allowing her to renew her love of problem-solving. Hannah was inducted into ELC in Spring 2022 and will graduate with her bachelor's degrees in December 2024. |
anthony HockmanVice President
Anthony Hockman is a 3rd-year aerospace engineering major with a minor in computer and information science and engineering. He is from Melbourne, FL, where he developed his love for space exploration and the aerospace industry. During this past summer, he served as a UF Student Senator and continued his undergraduate research with the Space Systems Research Group under the supervision of Dr. Norman G. Fitz-Coy. He was a member of the flight dynamics subteam for Swamp Launch Rocket Team and a co-director of the outreach committee for the Freshman Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG). Throughout the course of his career, Anthony hopes to promote humanity’s venture to the stars through creativity and sustainability. Anthony was inducted into ELC in Fall 2023 and will graduate with his bachelor’s degree in Spring 2025. |
Max BanachSecretary / Treasurer
Max Banach is a 3rd-year economics and electrical engineering double major with a minor in engineering innovation and certificate in engineering project management from Sarasota, FL. Over the past two summers, Max has interned at Michelin as an Automation Engineering Intern in 2022 and at Motorola Solutions as an Electrical Engineering Intern in 2023. Max has previously served in leadership roles in Florida Engineering Society (FES), Freshman Leadership Engineering Group (FLEG), Model United Nations (MUN), and UF Student Senate. He has been awarded Wertheim’s Fernandez Family Scholarship Award for engineering research. Overall, Max is looking to help solve the world’s complex problems one step at a time through intensive problem-solving and communication in cross-functional, project-based teams. Max was inducted into ELC in Spring 2022 and will graduate with his bachelor’s degrees in Spring 2025. |
